We’ve got some Samsung news for you!

More smart phone users are interested in bigger batteries with longer battery life. Users want to be able to go out all day and not have their battery last them for only half the day. Manufacturers are finally starting to realize that and are finally gearing their focus in that direction and also in the direction of fast charging and wireless options too.

On the contrary, Samsung doesn’t look like it’s focusing on that at all. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ are going smaller. They’re said to launch a 3000mAh battery pack in the devices. Even their new phablet devices are said to be the subject of the Samsung Unpacked event tomorrow. Trusty informant, Evan Blass says that the new phablet “will both boast the same size.”

Around this same time last year, there was a 3220mAh battery pack released, so we’re definitely expecting an upgrade to be released soon. Samsung seems to have decided to trim down the battery some in order to make their phones a bit more slender. Hmmm, we really hope that it would at least charge super fast, though.
